marioks
I need help on connecting the 3.6 Crankshaft position sensor 05149167AE. I took out the engine to replace the exhaust and some geniuses torn a sensor 05149167AE socket so I have a sensor and three loose wires from engine cable. I attach the picture. I do not know how these wires should be connected to the sensor. Would you be able to help me on that? daddyRT
daddyRT
You would need to get wiring diagram of the plug to sensor and the plug should have labels with letters for the position of where the coloured wires will go to .For example- A pin is blue B pin is black C is red . These are not the actual positions just example. Also use shrink rapped connectors to avoid future corrosion due to weather. Hope this helps. OhareFred
Agreed, match the wire colors up with the other end. I would solder and shrink tube each wire on the repair. dhh3 and Animal Mother
