Mrgixxer6
Is there something I'm missing? The two outlets in center console(with the battery on the cover) only work with acc or run. Not when locked as they are supposed to. Any ideas? Yeah I'm a 1 post wonder because I just bought the car. Thanks for your help! dhh3 and Animal Mother
OhareFred
On my 09, the outlet with the battery on it is always live, the one with the key on it is on in accessary or with the care running. I think the one in the back of the center council is always live. The one (s) with the battery should always be live.... dhh3
BrianS
That's the way mine is set up... front console is live w/key only. Rear of centre is live all the time. Can't say about the rear one... haven't needed it yet. dhh3
Mrgixxer6
I know what the symbols mean. I apparently had a bad charger that blew the fuses and when I replaced them I noticed none of the outlets work when in the Lock position. Did I miss a fuse somewhere that could have gotten fried? thanks. I replaced 2 20 amp fuses dhh3
dhh3
My Nitro had an easy fix to all of this. The fuse for the Power Port was a two position fuse. Installed in one position, it was hot all the time. The other position, it was hot only with the key. When they come up with neat ideas like this, why can't they keep them? jkeaton, Kubda and BrianS

jkeaton
Is this the case?!? I can barely get to the fuse box(just had vasectomy so my flexibility is limited LOL) Owners manual might mention it if it is equipped with this feature. dhh3
Mrgixxer6
Yeah owners manual is useless. Gonna just climb under the dash and look again. I just put it back where I thought I pulled it from. But who knows it was dark and I was iritated. Have t gotten to check it out for days as my wife has had he car. Hope to check tonight dhh3

dhh3
In my Nitro, the fuse box was right on top of the driver's front wheel well. So easy to get to and change the position of that fuse!
Marc Howell
finally got to get UNDER the dash.. (why the hell do they put these things so far down there?!?!?) SURE ENOUGH you can put the fuse in 2 different ways!!! you guys are awesome.. Would be great if that was in the effing owners manual... I am wanting to change my always on ones to only on with the key on my DJ 10 plate and read the manual and it tells me in there that the always on ones are switchable to come on with key only. Just need to find the fuse now, are the fuses not all located under the bonnet? If not where are they inside. Regards Marc. dhh3

Marc Howell
Well that's me located the fuse I was after as all my fuses are under the bonnet (UK/USA model) only to find out the the one in the boot is the only one that's switchable, so I'm going to have to re-wire it at the fuse board. dhh3
