2late4u
bought some black magic tire wet gel and applied it to the tires 2 weeks ago and re-did the tires again today, sure does make them shine and look great. this stuff is better then the spray on kind that is real thin and doesn't last.this stuff is thick and gooey and they give you a little applicator to use and you just dab it on and or wipe it on and man does it last, it cost about $7. at Walmart but it is really worth it. i did the black plastic on the roof rails and around the front on the black edge let it sit on for a hour and then went back and wiped it off with a dry rag kind of buffed it it a little and it made ever thing look new and shiny and didnt really collect any dust or dirt on them. so I used the bottle 2 times and it is still over 3/4 full so it will be cheaper than using the cheaper stuff you spray on as it doesn't last as long as this stuff does. the tires really didnt look bad enough to redo yet but after washing it i still had a little energy left so what the hell......yrs ago i heard the stuff they sold wasn't really good for your tires as it makes them rot or dry out faster than normal but i go thur tires faster than most people as i just turned 40 k on this journey, to many casino trips i guess... darrenm
Not a fan of wet look on tires. I use 303 product. It leaves a clean look finish.
Steven Harshbarger
I tried that stuff years ago and although first couple times I used it, it did look good but after a couple applications, there's quite a build up. I personally didn't like the buildup it left after a couple re-applicatons. I went back to mequires hot shine. It doesn't last as long but it doesn't leave nearly the residue that the jells left. Maybe it's worth another try.. 2late4u
jkeaton
I use Wesley's bleach white on the tires at each wash. That takes off the buildup and back to the bare rubber, Then after the tires dry I use ArmorAll Extreme shine gel. Stuff lasts quite awhile and doesn't fling itself all over the sides of the car. Medabum
But who can resist that black magic sweet cherry smell? Must......Eat....Some.... That gel does work quite well and lasts for a while without any of it flinging off. Just like other have said it makes your tires really dirty. Just scrub the tire down before using it again. Other than that its a good product. Edited May 23, 2017 by Medabum Mr. Fix it

2late4u
i have since switched to Cover all made by superior products, kind of expensive in the aerosol can i seen it was also alav in a gallon jug which i bought from orillies and then also use a applicator pads off amazon(Glearo Tire Dressing Applicator, 2 Pack Tire Shine Applicator Dressing Pad - Perfect for Tire Detailing, Durable & Reusable Foam, Large Hex Grip Design for No Slip No Mess & Easy Use) and they hold up great and when thur i replaced the pad into a baggie to keep it clean and from drying out, i also use this stuff on my side door inside panels as well it is fantastic and even holds up thur several rains i still use the 303 Aerospace Protectant on the dash and seats
