Moosefay1960
Hi all I am a first time Dodge owner. Bought a 2011 Dodge Journey RT and love it. I had a problem with my radio. Screen went black. Dealer wanted to order a new radio right away. Very expensive. So I went to different dealer and asked service guy to check the fuse for me. He pulled the fuse and said it was fine. So he put it back in. So I figured I would have to order a new radio. I started up car and guess what. My radio was working again. Maybe fuse was loose or pulling fuse and putting back re-booted it. Just wanted to share my experience so that it might save someone some money. dhh3
rolly
Welcome to the forum. Happy to see it was an easy fix. A lot of times you can simply undo the battery for 1/2 an hour and it will reset. dhh3
dhh3
Welcome. My choice would be to cut a square hole in the screen and slide an RBZ MyGig into the hole! Edited July 11, 2016 by dhh3
bramfrank
Take that first dealer off your 'go to' list. You might also want to let him know that their diagnostic skills leave something to be desired. rolly and dhh3
