The factory in Belvedere, IL produced 3 vehicles: Jeep Compass, Patriot, and Dodge Caliber. He wants to produce Jeep Cherokees there. Since the Cherokee, Dart, and 200 all share the same innards, why not just build all three there? He says that he is not going to build any new factories, so he is going to stop producing the Dart and 200, unless he can get them outsourced. I know of one factory that is empty, near Detroit, that used to produce Mercurys and Lincolns. He could use that. The new DJ is to be built in Detroit where the 200 is built. So, I have no idea what is going on in his head. He wants to build a new replacement for the Compass/Patriot. So, there will be three small Jeeps: Cherokee, Compass/Patriot replacement and Renegade. The Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Wagoneer. Plus, the Wrangler and a Wrangler based truck.
