redtomatoman
Maybe others have heard of this before, but I hadn't. . . I followed the procedure shown in this video. So far my windshield has been great in our monsoon rain and the bugs hardly stick. Cool easy trick to improve vision through the windshield. bramfrank
I'm going to break out a clay bar and give this a try . . . . . dhh3 and Gayle Yetter
dhh3
Rain-X does exactly the same thing, and it is a lot easier to use. Squirt it on; wipe it off. Any streaks will disappear during the first rain! It fills in all the minute pores in the glass, and the rain just runs up the windshield. No need for wipers. I do this at least 2x a year. probak118
Thanks for the idea redtomatoman, I used Invisible glass 2X on the glass. Then, used nufinish; the windshield looks great and repels water like rainx but without the haisy film noticed from an angle.
