Tommy Hetland
Find out some more yesterday. When closing tailgate, the CAR flash its brakelight. It keep on flashing every ten second. When open the tailgate again the flash stop. Starting and driving the CAR no problem, only when the CAR are parked. IT empty the batteri over night. OhareFred
Check the wire loom that goes from the car body to the liftgate (rubber piece at the top of the liftgate). There are known issues with the wires inside becoming broken and doing strange things, although the brake lights are on the body of the car. The lights in the tailgate are just taillights. Keep us informed on your progress. jkeaton

eddiies
Might also check the Brake light/stop light switch as it may be stuck, loose, or slightly engaged. just lift up on the brake pedal while the brake lights are on.
