ArmyGuy
Hello Everyone, I have a 2012 Journey SXT Front Wheel Drive. I have recently been having problems with the driver side door not unlocking the car, just the drivers door. I go over to the passenger side door and grab the handle and it unlocks the while car, or I go the trunk and hit the button and it unlocks the car. At first I thought it was the battery, bought a new one and still having the same problems. Any idea what it could be??? bigtsr
Is there any noise associated with the pushing of the button? It may be the door controller/solenoid , compare the sounds to the still operating passenger door as they should be the same.
bramfrank
Check the settings for the locks . . . . make sure 'unlock all doors 1st press' is selected.
