DollarBill4u
Hello all, New to forum and new Journey owner. I have a 2009 SXT with a bad vibration over 35-40 mph + and the drive shaft is definately jumping. I have not taken it down yet but am curious about the flex coupler. There does not seem to be a replacement flex coupler available and the only way to replace is to buy the entire drive shaft. Is this true or has anyone replaced with a suitable part? I intend to take the shaft down soon and see if that is actually the problem or if it is an actual bent shaft. I also will probably change the center bearing. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated! Bill
Hankster
Are you sure. I have been fooled into replacing shafts in the past to find it was actually a bad tire with a broken or slipped belt. If you have the car jacked up with the wheel spinning remember the shaft is running at an angle and could look bad when it's actually ok.
