Devilzblood
Hi, I know its not advisable to install HID's in a Halogen projector as it degrades it over time. What about installing a good quality LED Bulb? Since the heat from LED is far lower then HID, would that help prolong the life of the projectors? Thank you! bramfrank
Heat is not the issue - blinding oncoming traffic is. If you must up the output of the stock reflectors buy HIR bulbs.

vozaday
Watch this video and you will see why LEDS do not perform properly in a projector. HIDs in a lot of halogen projectors do indeed work well, it is hit or miss though. Some have horrible glare, but some contain it very well. jkeaton
Cody Chornobey Powley
Hid bulbs are designed specifically for hid bowls. Doesn't matter if the halogen projector hides glare well or not.....if you look at a vehicle with halogen projectors and hid projectors you'll see a noticeable difference in he size of the bowl to reduce a fire from burning the bowl......makes sense right...either. Buy hid projectors or risk a fire by putting a bulb that hot in such a small space jkeaton
bramfrank
Just buy HIR bulbs and while they may not be diamond white, they will be almost twice as bright as OEM with no side effects and the bulbs should last a lot longer than overpriced, overhyped dyed lights like the PIAA and other competitors. jkeaton
