Harston86
OK to make a long story short, my ex-wife trashed this vehicle. And I'm trying to repair it due to there being a loan on it and her getting another car. Before I got it back, it quit pulling and the transmission was throwing several codes, so I have had a new transmission installed by the local Dodge dealer. Now I moving on the to engine. I know that she had it overheat on her more than once. Each time, it was supposedly took to a mechanic, but I am truly unaware of exactly what repairs or measures that were taken to prevent future issues. Now kinda fast forward to the present. The engine sounds like you can hear everytime the spark plug fires on the engine side closest to the firewall. Even though the engine seems to run ok (still gets over 20 mpg), but sounds bad. I then found oil in my coolant. BUT I have so far been unable to find water in the oil or crankcase. So I figure bad cylinder head or cylinder head gasket? Looking for guidance and advice. And also a repair manual.
