Bob 091046 Posted July 1, 2017 Report Share Posted July 1, 2017 Made a copy of the software update Number 08-023-11 Rev A" (dated 8/12/11) and took it to my dealer. Unfortunately it only covers vehicles manufactured from December 10, 2010 to June 10, 2011. My vehicle was built in August 2011 so they could not update. MY ISSUE is that Voice recognition for Phone Book names does not work (only sometimes but very seldom). Dealer Service person had no suggestions. Can anyone make any suggestions? It's possible to make a phone call without VR, but it's just a lot more dangerous. @ Bob, there is a tsb for the VR, although I'm not sure if it applies to your problem. Try another dealer.
