LKMS
I have an engine light on for P0456. I scanned the computer and it says "Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (very small leak, check fuel cap, piping, etc.) I replaced the gas cap and cleared the code. After a few days of driving, the code came back again. Any similar issues for anyone on the forums?
jkeaton
What kind of gas cap did you replace it with?
larryl
You might need to get a smoke test done to see where the leak is

Meaning purchased from the dealer. The evap systems are so sensitive nowadays, aftermarket has caps don't provide the necessary seal.
